Global task team
An outcome of the Imaginarium is the formation of a global task team, a team made up of diverse, global practitioners who are dedicated to further shaping the field of global mental health innovation and facilitating future global and regional initiatives that build on the conversations stemming from the Imaginarium.
Some objectives of the task team are listed below, and others may arise based upon what is discussed during the participatory convening:
- Create a community of practice for global mental health innovation
- Create a brief of approaches, principles, and recommendations for global mental health innovation (including highlighting the role of youth and individuals with lived experience in catalyzing global mental health innovation)
- Foster collaboration amongst agencies and stakeholders to host global, regional, and/or local global mental health innovation events.
- Gather, synthesize, develop and share relevant tools related to the global mental health innovation guidelines.
- Creating an immersive, virtual platform which invites the global community to showcase their ideas and insights on global mental health innovation through videos, blogs, stories, poems, art, and other modes of expression – all artifacts that are shared thus offer a myriad of perspectives and provocations, and encourages the global community to experience, connect, and create together.
