What is the Global Mental Health Imaginarium?

This Imaginarium is a collaborative space to (re)imagine and (re)define mental health innovation. Through a participatory and consultative process, attendees will set strategic priorities for evolving the field. The Imaginarium’s first Participatory Convening will take place on 25th February.

 

Who can attend?

We welcome anyone who works to support the wellbbeing of all. This includes individuals with lived experience, youth, representatives of grassroot organisations, civil society organizations, local and international NGOs, government bodies, and funding agencies working in the mental health and psychosocial well-being space. We welcome individuals across expertise and experience, including artists and musicians, teachers, activists, architects and engineers, peacebuilders and mediators, and others. Across all sectors, we invite students, emerging professionals, and experts who are interested in further expanding this growing field through a process of (re)imagining and (re)defining global mental health innovation.

 

What is the cost of attending the Imaginarium?

The Imaginarium is entirely free to attend.

 

Where will the Imaginarium be held?

Online. The 1st Global Mental Health Innovation Imaginarium will be held virtually on Zoom.

 

Can I still sign up to the Imaginarium if I can’t attend the full day?

During the Participatory Convening, participants will be facilitated through sessions of: mindfulness practices, sense-making, ideating, and prototyping. We understand that due to different timezones, participants may not be able to attend the full day. The agenda will be posted soon, and participants can attend specific sessions if they are unable to attend the full day. We encourage organisations to be represented in all sessions when possible.
